Wenger is going to hate seeing us. We know we've the beating of them; it just becomes a question of who shows up on the day and executes best.
Let's hope we don't get over-confident though. Will still be a tough match. But we're at home and will be motivated.
A tough draw - a biggy for the round. We've won the last two matches against them but because we were on top of our game - we can't be anything less if we hope to win the game. They'll be out for revenege in this one.
Look at it from their perspective - they're going have to be on the top of their game to beat us. They are where they are in the league because the best they have hasn't been better than the teams above them. League positions mean something the more the season goes on - don't discount what that's telling us. Just because Arsenal are a BIG club doesn't mean their best is magically worth more or poor things they deserve to be higher in the table.
For so many years we would be chuffed with this draw, now not so sure. It would be good to have a game where we could use our fringe players, this will not be one of them. We should fear no one, we may be safe in the league then and can focus on the cups.
For me its the draw of the round and one witch Wenger and the Arsenal lads will either happy about or pissed off about but one things for sure its going to be a win for the Swans
It will be a much closer game i think. anyone can beat anyone in this league as we have all witnessed....Nobody can be complacent and say we will win, It will be all on the day and who delivers the goods....we all need a bit of luck...
As you say Diaswan this will be a diffrent game one that both teams will want to win so we should not get to cocky lads, just go back to L/Pool game we win in the cup gae then only draw in the LG and Arsenal will want revenge.
I'm pleased with the draw. A home tie against a great Club. No travelling all over the country to play a small side - we have been doing that for most of the last century
