I wish Championship teams came in one round before Premier League ones. If for example we were to draw Cheltenham away in a round that Premier League clubs don't enter, I think broadcasters would see that as a potential upset and therefore an attractive match. This season I'd definitely prefer minnows. If Sordell or Mariappa have good games against good teams, the Dear Leader will no doubt cash in. But perhaps more positively, if we do draw minnows I'm cautiously optimistic that Dyche would play the sort of lineup we fielded against Hartlepool last year. Apart from Buckley it could even be the exact same team.
Home draw, non-Championship side, preferably avoid the likes of Man City as I don't fancy watching us lose 6-0. Chelsea at home would be good. Fairly local, will be a sell out and may actually put up a good showing against them at the moment.
Without risking injuries to key players I still hope that we would put out a more or less full strength squad even against one of the minnows - I don't want to see a repetition of Bristol Rovers or Notts County. A home tie against any premiership side outside of the top 6 would be nice - not only financially but also with a chance of getting through, maybe Aston Villa. Anything will do apart from another championship side away.
I would like to get Ipswich as its a dead certain progression and then get a few 'easy' games to get us to near the semi's. The income would be great and if we get to the quaters/semi's we are almost certain of a big payday.
Its bradford city at the vic!! A good draw for us. Lets hope we can get a kind one if we get through too!!
