Oh good - another non league team - Macclesfield ( away ) .....................................for Brackley ?
If we were playing better I would see this as a great path to the third round for a potential money spinner, but I fear we will get knocked out at Brackley. We need a big improvement to get through.
Hope we get knocked out at Brackley to be honest. I say it every year (and every year some jumped up idiot takes it as reason to claim I am not a real fan, but anyway) we do not need a cup run. We need to win some bloody league games.
And the best way to win league games is having some money for loan players or January transfers, and the best way to get money is a cup run.
Hang on....are not Macclesfielsd the team that came to Priestfield in April 2011, the end of Hessie's first comeback season and stuffed us 2 - 4? Team members that day included Joe Martin, Cody and Bayo This brings back memories of only scraping 2 points from the last four home games and missing out on play offs. I'm getting depressed again... bring me the scottish cough mixture!
You're lucky you're a few thousand miles away - I might join you - I happened to be in Cyprus when we lost to Forest and got relegated from the Championship - it didn't seem to be as miserable when you're too far away to be able to touch the agony.
