The FA Cup, the world's oldest domestic cup competition, returns for its 145th edition in the 2025/26 season, igniting dreams of giant-killings and glory for underdogs nationwide. Established in 1871, it remains the pinnacle of English football's romantic ethos, where non-league minnows can topple Premier League giants

This season's first round proper marks the entry of 48 EFL clubs from League One and League Two, joining 32 qualifiers from lower divisions

The draw for the FA Cup first round proper takes place on Monday, October 13, 2025. It will begin at approximately 6.30pm BST.

It follows on from Saturday's fourth qualifying round fixtures, that will determine which non-league sides are in the draw. One fixture, Worthing vs Forest Green Rovers, will, however take place on Monday after the official draw

I want Yeovil to win today and hope we get them away as it's not far from me and my mate is a season ticket holder at Yeovil so i'll get a lift to the game. :)
