the draw is on tonight at 7pm

I hope we get an away draw against either a non league team or a League 2 club who’s ground I have not been to yet.

 

I was, “hope we get someone like ManU or ManC.” Then I realised we gotta get through four rounds first....

Soooo no hope in hell.

 

An obscure away draw should prompt the return of the famous “Purple Knob” aka @baraettmattesvensson

 

Since there are only four teams ranked higher than us in the first round, it is very likely that we will get an obscure draw.

A useful test would be an away game against Wigan, Shrewsbury, Bradford or Rotherham.
A chance to see how our squad players fare against the squad players of a decent opponent.

But I guess non-league opponents will provide a test as well, just of a different kind. I'm not overly bothered to be honest.

 

We're sh1t in the Cup, always have been, even under Curbs, who used to play a full strength team.

 

Home v Truro City

 

Got In-laws from Truro. I don't expect they'll make the journey, although I will suggest it.

 

I can see Truro bringing a lot up. Good luck to them. Hope they make a few quid.

 

We're probably looking at a 3-1 win for our reserves against Truro in front of about 3,000 fans.
And a few hours later, the kind of ecstatic burbling on the Club website and ITTV that would make Joseph Goebbels blush.

 

Spot on there Mr van Gerwen, I am glad we got a boring home draw as I am in Sofia on the weekend of the 4th.

Would you go to Truro if there is a replay?

 

No more annual leave I'm afraid, off to Buenos Aires and Brasil in December so all taken up.

But in normal circumstances yes.
