Imagine the FA did a competition like the World Cup, but with towns and Cities from England instead of countries. Each City picks their squad from players who play for teams based in that City.

I do not think it needs pointing out that this would be dominated by London, Manchester and Liverpool. But who would have the best looking team over all?

Manchester has players from title challenges City and United.

Liverpool has Champions League chasers Liverpool and Everton.

London has a host of teams, including title outsiders Chelsea, Champions League chasers Arsenal and Tottenham, and also sides like West Ham, QPR and Fulham. Resulting in a large choice of talent to choose from (but not all top clubs).

So what dream team would you make from teams from each of these cities?

    Mine:

    Manchester:

    --------------------Hart-------------------
    ----Richards----Vidic---Kompany----Clichy--
    ---------------Toure----Barry--------------
    ------Valencia-----Aguero-------Silva------
    -----------------Van Persie----------------

Subs: De Gea, Lescott, Fletcher, Garcia, Rooney, Tevez.

    Liverpool:

    -------------------Reina-----------------
    ----Johnson---Skrtel---Agger---Baines----
    -------------------Lucas-----------------
    ----------Gerrard----------Felliani--------
    ------------------Suarez-----------------
    ---Mirallas----------------------Stirling---

Subs: Howard, Jagielka, Kelly, Allen, Suso, Pienaar, Jelavic.

    London:

    -------------------Cech-----------------
    ---Walker-----Cahill-----Terry-----Cole---
    -------------Sandro---Wilshere-----------
    ------Hazard-------Mata--------Bale-----
    ------------------Walcott----------------

Subs: Friedel, Haangerland, Asso Ekotto, Ramirez, Dembele, Oscar, Torres.

Best defense is Liverpool IMO, whilst Manchester has the most goals.

    Can open, worms everywhere!

The Mancs will love that squad. I love your Champions Laegue chasers comment, I bloody wish.

I will have a go at the squads in a moment.

We are chasing the champions league. Even if we are a bit far behind.

I found picking a London striker. I almost chose Defoe.

My Manchester team is mostly City players. This board has more united fans.

I hope we can find some form and get there but it seems unlikely at the moment.

Depends on formations, you've used Liverpools formation for The city of Liverpool but if you use Evertons formation then for me it would be...

    ---------------------Reina----------------------
    ---Johnson---Jagielka-----Agger----Baines---
    -------------Lucas--------Fellaini---------------
    ------Mirallas----Suarez---Pienaar/Sterling----
    --------------------Jelavic----------------------

    as for the other 2...

    -----------------------Lloris--------------------
    ---Walker---Vertonghen-----Terry-----Cole--
    -----------------Arteta---Wilshere-----------
    ---------Hazard-------Mata--------Bale-----
    ----------------------Defoe-------------------

    --------------------Hart-------------------
    ----Richards----Vidic---Kompany----Clichy--
    ---------------Toure----Carrick--------------
    ------Valencia-----Tevez-------Silva------
    -----------------Van Persie----------------

Anyway, I'm not doing benches but Manchester would walk it.

Can't believe you have Fallaini in midfield Shogun! He's **** in there but a good striker. I'd have him up front with Suarez.

I did think about that team. But decided the best player in Liverpool has to be in his best role (that is Suarez if you didnt catch the hint ;) )

In your other teams you have a few who I debated about but decided not to pick.

Hes boss in CM, the media don't notice you unless you score goals though. Most blues want him played further back.

As for Suarez, if he was so good he could play anywhere <whistle>

I like all of that Shogun except I would have

    ---------Gerrard----------
    Pienaar---Jelavic-------Suarez

You could swap Pienaar and Gerrard if you wanted as well. Not sure exactly Pienaars best position? Is it in the hole or outwide?

I suppose you watch him more than me so I'll bow to your knowledge and hope that he plays in midfield when you play us.

Pienaar - Baines partnership is wonderful which is why I put him there, doesn't really matter, different formations will suit different players.

Stick him in goal then. Reina, Howard, Jones and Mucha are ****e ffs

Wait are we doing this on a overall quality or an in the moment how are they playing? If it is the later you could have to throw in ENrique at LW possibly. Either way we would get stomped by the Manchester and London teams.

Over all, tactical, current. What ever you fancy.

    -

The Liverpool defense is solid. I think London could find it hard to break.

    Of the reserve team <ok>
