It seems the FA tossed a coin to see who played on Saturday between Stoke and Port Vale. How hard is it to see that the furthest travelling fans needing the Saturday game....so they can get back for work on Monday. Commonsense should have made it easy for the FA to have given Port Vale the nod over Stoke.......but that would have required bottle of course.
Do they ground share then? If the answer is no then I personally can't see why anything needed to change.
What they reckon 10000 janners will descend on the place and cause carnage then? Somehow I doubt more than a couple of hundred at best will travel for this glamour tie. Maybe they've heard lyndhurst is coming?
Obviously a partially deaf 50 year old and his teenage son are a threat to the good people of Stoke. I really don't understand the thought process in moving either game but playing on the Sunday doesn't bother me either (just be a bit more grumpy at work/school Monday morning). Interesting to see what the crowd will be - I would have thought that there will still be about 500 greens there and I suppose a few local neutrals(stoke fans) might pop along.
I expect the thought of Stoke,Leicester,Port Vale and Argyle fans all using the transport systems around Stoke at the same time is more than the Police would want to cope with even with staggered kick-off times.
