Greg Clarke has admitted they have lost the trust of the public in the past few weeks.
In an article on the BBC Website he admits the Mark Sampson issue was mishandled.
Well Greg as a football fan of nearly sixty years I could gave told the various Chairmen that this distrust goes back decades.
His organisation has been run by old men in grey suits and have been completely out of touch with the grass roots supporter.
I would suggest a root and branch clear out of the whole set up but they would only replace the rotten dead wood core with other like minded non descripts. The same as has happened with FIFA, has anything really changed since Blatter was shown the door.
In my view those charged with running these huge organisations are as corrupt and inept as most of our politicians, and that is hardly a good yard stick to measure yourself by.
I've no idea what the answer is to this problem but his apology has come nearly sixty years too late for me.

I'd say he's deluded if he thinks they only lost the public's trust in the past few weeks. <laugh>
