This is what is wrong with the game.

All the talk about "fairplay" and they do not practise what they preach.

Wigan manager, Roberto Martinez, says he has received an apology from referees' chief, Mike Riley, following their defeat at Chelsea on Saturday. Martinez described linesman, Dave Bryan's performance as "disgusting", as television replays showed both Chelsea goals should have been ruled out for offside.

Taken from beeb web site. Are we not due some apologies from the Referee's chief?

No, because the decision is considered "correct".

The sad thing is, even the PFA are wanting the FA to clamp down on cheats but they are actively encouraging it by saying the tiniest of contacts in enough to flip a player and get a red card and penalty.

I hope we see 5 more events like this at the weekend. i would also hope Hughes points out why we didnt get 6 penalties tomorrow every time one of out players is brushed in the box.

"Fair play" my a**e. The FA and their refs get what they deserve: a reputation for head-in-the-sand incompetence and loads of well-deserved abuse from the wronged.

In fairness it must have been really difficult to sign off on Derry's suspension when both hands were ****ing off Ferguson under the table

We just played Spurs and Everton over the weekend and had two terrible referees - definitely cost us two points against Everton for the obvious obstruction and King should have got a straight red for rugby tackling Holt in the box yesterday. Stil we managed to get 4 points despite the refs but for you guys to go down to 10 and have a pen against at Old Trafford was always going to be a killer blow. Seems that the teams at the bottom are getting the ****ty end of the stick decision-wise. Wigan utterly robbed as well. It just always seems to be the case that the bigger clubs get the decisions and the rest of us have to suck it up. Hope you get the luck back in your last five - looking at your fixtures you'll probably need it.
