F1 Banner

I was thinking we should get a picture on here to replace the grass at the top. It's obviously going to be hard to please everyone because everyone supports different drivers, so I was thinking we should get the class of 2010 across the top.

Let me know what you think and when we decide on one I'll ask Mick to stick it up for us. If you want to add a suggestion of your own go ahead. Ideally they want to be about 1850 pixels wide, 1600 is really the minimum. I actually prefer the Sepang one to the first one, but it's a little on the narrow side and a touch outdated (considering Brawn and Toyota no longer exist).

I like the Sepang one Dan, it's a little on the narrow side though. I could try to Photoshop one.

Just been doing a bit of investigating, if you have a wide monitor you should see the whole lot, if you have a standard one you probably won't see Vettel, the Sauber and the F1 logo, still looks alright though. Right, I'm off to bed, night all.

 

I was thinking the same thing after seeing the football boards having modified banners. good job looking forward to the results

I'm so pleased to see that someone has mentioned the grass! I really don't like it and first wondered if I could change the theme myself (so hunted around for a while before giving up!).

The grass is horrible; besides, it gives very little grip so I prefer to stay on the tarmac…

I emailed Mick about a banner yesterday, Now its been brought up here and some cool banners have been suggested. Good times!

 

Great minds and all that. And simple ones as well I suppose...

Mick's just emailed me back saying the F1 bit on the left will disappear for people with smaller monitors (apparently a lot of people on the Sunderland board only see the word "underla" ) because the banner doesn't scale down for lower resolutions. Hopefully he'll stick it up anyway, if it looks really bad for some people we can get it edited.
