http://instagram.com/p/h0UBBiPzu7/ It's got to be Perez surely? It can't be di Resta as he's still in court.
Twitter is starting to light up with Perez about to be confirmed alongside Hulk Looks like Smedley is going to Williams as well.
I think that Perez/Hulk will probably be the strongest midfield pairing (FI, Sauber, Williams, Toro Rosso) and depending on which Maldo turns up could be better than Lotus
Don't know where you heard that but Leo Turrini says Ferrari and Red Bull are against it. He says that because of this, the rule change might not happen. Ferrari have a veto, let's hope they use it! EDIT: Turrini's words:
Perez to FI confirmed.. If they can get a decent car out, then IMHO, FI have one of the best pairings on the grid.
https://pic.twitter.com/QpTXoL8abz Im not a massive Perez fan but I do think this will be a crackin line up!
Really happy about Perez and Hulk being paired up at FI. Its a great lineup for the team and I hope they can push on for podiums
I've been critical of some of Force India's driver choices in the past but I have to say fair play to Mallya for putting two very talented drivers in the same team, I feel that they knew Di Resta/Sutil have both been quite underwhelming and this is a good change. Hopefully this means Di Resta is out of the sport I know that he's good enough for a lower field drive, but quite frankly his attitude stinks and his terrible run in the summer (all of his own making) cost him his seat.
I have a feeling Hulk had a say on Di Resta. "They said yes to everything I asked", "I want a competitive team mate".
Could say the same about Grosjean. Force India's is definitely stronger; Hulkenberg>Grosjean>Perez>Maldonado in my opinion. I hope Di Resta goes to WEC. DTM would be a real step back given he's already won it.
Yeah, you definitely could. It seemed like he turned a corner in 2013 and will deliver more consistently, while Maldo has never been consistent in his 3 years in F1. Agree with the order too, unless Maldonado turns it on (Spain 2012) then Perez is better
It's ironic that DiR felt he should have got a drive with McLaren previously and yet it is McLaren sacking its own driver which has forced him out of F1!
Di resta is not liked that much on here. Ferrari easily have the best line up next season hopefully they get the best car again. Last time they had the best car was probably 2004 lol.
