Short for "Fulham's United Nations" and a bit of football history in the making. Fifteen years ago today Jean Tigana fielded 11 players from 11 different countries in a Worthington Cup match against Bury.

Kind of interesting sideline is that Lee Clark was the only one who didn't have a full International cap. And also worth recording that on the bench were two Argentinians - Martin Herrera and Facundo Sava - Portuguese international Luis Boa Morte, Frenchman Martin Djetou and Surrey-born Mark Hudson.

So far as the game is concerned that was a bit of fun as well. We won 3-1; Andrejs Stolcers getting a double and Lee Clark the third before Bury got a consolation goal. Part of the fun was seeing Stolcers scoring for the first time in almost two years and the two he got that night doubling his goal tally for the Club.
