    Morning Everyone,

Warnock has come out and said that he only wants hungry players. Could this be a return of Thomas Brolin and Andy Robinson.

We want your top 5 fattest players, don't all need to have played for the mighty Whites
Warnock is believed to be chasing two more Portsmouth players, striker Luke Varney and midfielder David Norris, but insists he will not be bringing players to Leeds just for one year. Warnock is in the process of tying up a deal for right back Joel Ward...

We must not forget these Pompey players are the same players that got there side relegated, albeit with a 10 point deduction for going into administration.

Neil Warnock has said that Michael Brown is the type of player he likes to have around the club and he is someone he trusts. Looks like he will be staying next season then... Whereas he feels he can replace Adam Clayton with a player costing less than the fee he is likely to receive for the midfielder. Thoughts?

Thats a tad unfair Pal. They had a 10 point deduction & all sorts of off field problems & struggled to name a bench due to the size of there squad!

I know a few Pompey fans (as I am sure you do also) and Ward is a highly rated product of there youth team who can play almost anywhere. Would be another steal if we can sign him up. Dont forget we got relagated with some real gems in our side. Sometimes it happens when the focus isnt on the pitch!

Gooooood Morning all <ok> Roll on the weekend :)

yeah if it wasn't for the 10 point deduction and club turmoil then Pompey wouldnt have gone down..plus there defence wasnt too bad think they conceded 59 goals...which was the same as Blackpool

    Classic!

Morning Elland, morning all. Top of the fattest list (apart from me) has got to be the Blades Fatty Foulkes - all 24 stone of him. Played for england too!
Next has got to be tubby tommy brolin. So many chippies went bust when he left us.
How could we leave the great Mark Viduka off the list. Brilliant player, but subject to home and away fans dedicating renditions of 'who ate all the pies?" to him. And lets not forget that goalie clearance that rebounded off his arse into the net.
Trundle has also got to make the list. Was there ever a player with such an apt name?
I seem to remember Jan Molby getting a wee bit chubby towards the end of his career. Guess it's a toss-up between him & BP for my 5th choice.

I remember when we took the piss out of Razor Ruddock's extra blubber down at Palace when he came near the away section. He took it in good heart and made a loadsamoney sign back to us as if to say "who cares, I'm minted!"
    Great character.

How can Frank Strandli be missed off this list? Am sure John Barnes let himself go towards the end as well.

According to the rumours, we do seem to be building a new squad from the sunk crew of Portsmouth:

    Brown (already here)
    Pearce (already here)
    Ward
    Halford
    Varney
    Norris

Have to admit to not knowing much about any of them (Brown excepted) other than they got relegated this year after an early 10 point deduction that they should really have overcome. Some are likely to be on high wages and the key to the administrators will be getting those wages off the books, with a transfer fee being secondary.

Building a nucleus of the best players who have all worked togetehr before may be a good tactic though

Kasper Schmeichel had piled on some pounds by the end of his stay. No wonder he could save **** all when he had so much flab on him.
