The BBC probably wouldn't include us as promotion contenders if we were 4th in the league and we'd won yesterday(they didn't include us in their review when we were 6th either).

I don't mind slipping under the radar so much. I started to write us off a little bit when we drew with Doncaster but we're not in as bad position as all the negativity suggests. If we win our games in hand then things will start looking all rosey again. If we carry on with this scoring business and regain our strong defensive performances throughout march we'll be right in the mix again.. won't we?
I'm not being funny, but I agree with them. I reckon 100-1 would be about right on us going up now. And Im not criticising Nick here, a finish around 8th - 9th would be acceptable.
Being 3 points off the play-offs with games in hand on some teams I think, makes us contenders. I too saw this round-up, and I had the feeling when it started that we might be overlooked. Sure enough, we did. We are still contenders, and not to show our highlights is twatty of the BBC. But predictable. 'Cos I predicted it. You're just gonna have to take my word for that. It's ok though, instead of showing our goals we got to see a minute or so of Danny Mills offspring doing taps, much to the enjoyment of no one except Mills. Well, so long as he's happy eh? And Chapper's jacket was a ****ing disgrace. ****s me off all this.
We're definetly top 6 contenders. Put it this way, if we were only 3 points off the bottom 3 that would make us relegation contenders. Whether we'll make it or not remains to be seen, I'd be disappointed to miss out on the top 6 but if we were to finish in the position we are in now it would be a progress from last year and hopefully give us some sort of platform to push on next year.
How far down the table did they extend highlights? (highest team in the game only) Might "promotion contenders" have been a reference to trying to finish in the top 2?
