Morning mate. Just been looking at today's meeting at Woodbine. With another $150,000 race up for grabs, it's a little surprising that the there are only the six starters. As you know I'm a huge Contreras fan but it comes a bit of a shock to see him on the Casse horse Northern Passion instead of Husbands. ( Not that he should be riding Husbands 
) I suppose the owners have had their say in the matter. Husbands' ride Givhans Ferry looks a likely type. It worked really well at Churchill Downs, breezing 4f in 47.60. The one to beat though is Tu Endie Wei who had a cracking win in the My Dear Stakes at Woodbine where she earned a 92 Bayer rating. The only thing against the fillies chances today is that the race may be run a little differently. They went like scalded cats last time which allowed her to storm home from well back. If they sit and sprint it could play to the strengths of the other two.
Conclusion: I'm going to take the risk that Tu Endie Wei might not get the race to suit her, which will leave the race to either Northern Passion or Givhans Ferry.
