At least we got a home draw against a team in our division rather than an away trip to some outreach of the Empire. This is a winnable fixture but I wonder whether or not we need to focus on our bread and butter rather than expend valuable energy on a tournament that has lost some of it's earlier lustre from the days when it was highly rated. I don't expect to see any new faces in the fold prior to this fixture so I would expect us to pack up our tent earlier rather than later and get back to the day to day business.
It may all depend on how interested Fulham are in an FA Cup run compared to powering on towards their almost inevitable promotion. It could do us a favour, but then again...…….
