Great article in the Guardian. Funnily enough before the season started the Guardian asked for all EFL fans to submit a player to watch this season and I put forward Eze, unfortunately they did not listen to me at the time otherwise they wouldn't have to have done this article now!

What's everyone's verdict on Eze so far(let's pretend that the 1st 10 games of playing him at right midfield never happened). Personally I love watching him play, and for the 1st time in years are looking forward to ****e games like Stoke away, on the chance that quality goals that he is involved in may occur(Goals at Bolton my example). Does still give the ball away to often and shrugged off the ball on too many occasions but I love him

Good article, but he wasn't too good at Blackburn or in the Brentford game. Maybe he needs a rest.

Big up to Chris Ramsey too who obviously was instrumental in his development.

We're lucky to have home.for as long as it lasts but he would be wise to consider what happened to Remy after his move to Chelsea. Warm a bench - if you're lucky - or bask in the glory of the LR faithful.

He is exciting to watch. Interesting that Ainsworth says about his defending as that is where I think he needs to improve. You watch him sometimes when coming back to defend corners and he just stands marking no one, might as well put him on the half way line for a quick break. Also when he gets the ball he has sometimes 2 or 3 players onto him so he will give the ball away. Let's enjoy him while we can and hope he remains level headed and goes on to big and better things, with the R's if possible please.

Reactions: Rangers Til I Die
Predicting the future of a young flair player is a brave endeavour indeed. The first time I saw a certain Adel Tarrabt at Loftus Road I remember telling my kids that in later life they would be telling people they actually watched him play in the flesh. They still may do so but only to exemplify wasted talent. Eze does seem more grounded than AT but he definitely does things his way or no way just like our Moroccan friend and there were presumably reasons why Millwall gave up on him. He needs guidance on how to round out his game and truly become the next Stanley or Rodney as I'm convinced he can and which hopefully SM and his team can supply. In the meantime we can only sit back and admire those incredible flashes of brilliance that he is capable of.
