Extra money for the transfer kitty

Shearer just said on MotD - the difference between finishing 11th and 16th is £4M. By my calculation, that's half of RvW's transfer paid already!!!!!

 

I thought the RVW funds were out of this seasons budget.... They would mean a extra £4m for next seasons budget - exciting times!

I was looking for this exact info. Massive $ boost which is excellent. Pretty sure RvW is bought and paid for from this season's budget - the money that we were offering Celtic for Hooper. Perhaps a bit more in the "Attacking Midfielder" war chest, if Howson hasn't just changed CH's mind.

Fantastic to see the change in Howson over the last few games - it's almost as though CH has 'allowed' him to revert to his normal role and whereas in earlier games, I thought he was terrible, in the last 3 games he has been a relevation.

 

I'd imagine CH had a bonus linked to finishing position as well. He's probably got a grin on his face this monrning. Good for him.
