Thanks Josh. Had hoped the extended highlights might give us some insight into the big decisions - 2 pen claims, disallowed goal & blatant, nailed on foul against Lees that was given to the chicken **** for some reason, & which led to their equaliser. Is this the kind of service you always get from LUTV? Don't they analyse (or in this case notice!!) the big talking points of the game?
What was wrong with Pearce's goal??? ROBBED! And why dioufs late chance isnt in this highlights package il never know
Pearce's goal SHOULD of been allowed! ****ing robbed. Send The Beast round to the ref's house to give him a bloody good kicking for that massive cock up.
Yea I agree about Pearce. Why that goal was never given is beyond me, thought there were more issues with Diouf's And how good was Rosco's finish
To be fair, a bit lucky on Ross's goal that a free kick was not given for Luciano's push/bridging foul as the ball came over. Where was Peltier for the first two goals? NW blamed EHD, but where was Lee? Thanks for bringing us the extended highlights!
Yea, agree about Peltier being nowhere however without being there and watching it on a larger scale from the crowd you just don't know. Coulda been covering Lees or Pearce or just been so far forward that Diouf should've automatically covered him. As I say, its hard to say without being there And by the way, I in no way take credit for these highlights, I just searched Youtube for em and posted it on here
Re. Peltier - IMO he got drawn out to do the job he should be doing, and you would expect a midfielder to cover his position. Diouf was kipping. For the first, he was behind the attacking left back & didn't have enough speed to catch him. Second one was similar, but he showed he's more of a striker than a defender by getting on the wrong side of the guy, leaving him stranded. Deffo Diouf both times. My problem is that it took TWO goals for Warnock to switch Diouf with Varney.
Whitejock, this is the issue with signing strikers to play the position of wide midfielders, maybe next time he should sign players to play in their position rather than sign a player then try to fit him into the team somehow. This is one of my many issues with Warnock
Pelts was in no mans land for the first diouf was too slow in the second, The ref was appalling not seen much worse tbh, he actually pointed our way for the freekick leading up to their last goal but changed his mind n also u see Peterson push pelts in the back just before pelts heads it out
Whitejock the ball that split our 2 players for the first goal was first class so I reckon he wouldve scored whoever was marking him, think ourselves lucky he changed it under Grayson we wouldve rolled over n died n it'd finished 5-0
Hope you defend like that against us - Keogh will have a field day - thought Pearce's goal should have been but McCormack's goal shouldn't have
Would like to point out Becchio's role in each of the goals. Obviously he scored the 3rd, but for each of the first 2 he harried Blackburn's defence and created the space for both Diouf and McCormack. Rosco's easily our most skilful player, bug coup getting him on a new contract and we need to hope he stays fit.
Simon McCormack has looked so sharp these first few games agree we need to keep him fit, also becchio as frustrating as he can be he knows where the net is an let's be honest he shows so much passion for us you gotta love him
In the highlights after 3 min, Varney out jumped the defender & the ref gave a free kick. total idiot of a ref. you can see NW is so passionate on the touch line.
