Explosions at Boston Marathon

    In case you haven't seen the news there's been two explosions at the finish line of the Boston marathon.

    They don't know yet if its a horrible accident or anything sinister but by all accounts many people are injured and its believed there are fatalities.

    Lets hope that that this isn't caused by terrorists.


    Apologies for not being Swans related but this is too awful to ignore, thoughts with the families

    2 dead confirmed. This is horrible and they was timed to go off when all the charity runners were finishing too. Bas**rds :mad:

    Bloody hell, it's the London marathon on Sunday. I hope the security forces are on red alert

    Absolutely disgusting. An easy target for what appears to be a terrorist attack against sports people who are merely out for a run. WAN.KERS.

    Horrible news. With thatchers funeral Wednesday and the marathon Sunday, the country will have to be on red alert.

    Just said on Sky that London is stepping up its security, especially with the marathon on Sunday and for the funeral on Wednesday.

    Thankfully (doesn't sound like the right word to use here) the area was full of paramedics and first aiders etc for the marathon to help the poor buggers injured.

    Put them in a room with family members of those killed and injured I say and let them deal with them.

    Well we can only guess at the moment that it is terrorism and the culprits are probably the usual suspects.

    When you look at the explosion, it does look like a homemade device and not a high powered explosive like semtex.
