It seems clear to me that we need a new goalkeeper at the back - an old one who'll be reliable but all too happy to be Szczesny's number 2.

    Any ideas?

F*ck's sake, one game and we're talking about a goalkeeping crisis.

    Quit it, everyone.

Murray, I'm being realistic. We need a reliable back up to Szczesny.

We should have bought Shay Given from Newcastle years ago as our number one.

And you came to this realisation because you saw one game?

    People love over-reacting.

No. Given isn't tall enough to be commanding. He's a fantastic shot-stopper, but Arsenal need someone who is aerially dominant due to their poor abilities in the air. Especially with Vermaelen and Koscielny both being marginally under 6ft.

Chesney is great - he's a good shot stopper, but he's also 6' 5", and comes for crosses. Just what Arsenal need.

If this is not a knee-jerk reaction then I do not know what is. Even if it is Fabiansky knee we are talking about.

Catching a ball should be a pre-requisite for being a keeper surely.

But I like Mannone, he looks like a mean mo'fo !
