    Who would become a politician? You reach the pinnacle of your career by acquiring one of the top 650 political positions in the country, yet only get paid half as much as other public servants such as Doctors - and then every **** does freedom of information requests on your every expense and make you out to be a bastard.

    It's a great aphrodisiac. Do you think the likes of David Mellor, David Blunkett etc. would get a crack at a decent looking burd if they worked in a betting shop?
