    1) - automatic promotion
    2) - play-offs
    3) - mid table
    4) - bottom half
    5) - relegation battle

Personally think we’ll be fine. Expecting us to finish mid table, around 10-12th place. I want us to be hard to beat whilst developing our younger players (Patterson, Cirkin, Huggins, Matete and Neil), to name a few.

Optimistic of a decent season. Good manager and a squad with a bit of spirit - hopefully add some more quality and we will have a fair shot of finishing 10th upwards. Would not rule out a play off position.

I know every season is different but 75 points were required to qualify for last season play-offs. That is 20 wins, 15 draws and 11 defeats… Are we really capable of that?

Somewhere between option 2 and 3 I reckon.

I’d be happy with that. Consolidate this season and then build for a promotion push the season after, is my hope…

I'd be happy with a year of consolidation, progressive signings, more progress with the academy and continue the positivity around the club.

Saying that with the apparent car crash that is championship finances if it all came together we could well be in the mix at the end of the season

Be interesting to see how teams approach us now that we are no longer a huge fish in a tiny pond. Also be interested in how we cope with fewer expectations on us. With the right investment I'm confident we can stay clear of relegation. Maybe finishing top of the bottom half is realistic then build for the following season.

It’ll be weird playing against sides who don’t time waste from minute 1. <laugh>

Indeed, but the rest of the fish probably think they are as big as us, unlike last season where every trip to the SOL was like a Wembley visit for them

Top half would do for starters anything above that will be very interesting, whilst building for the future. HTL

Hopefully top half finish but I have feeling AN and his experience of this division may give us a nice surprise.

Gone for option 3, if we're good with our pre season signings then who knows. Heart says option 2 but head will win out and I'd be delighted with that if I'm honest.
However we don't have many seasons of mid table obscurity.

I'm optimistic but to be honest I have no idea what to expect and what we should even realistically expect. If we survive I'll be happy enough as long as the players have given everything. I think our momentum and team spirit is worth a few extra positions in this league though and I genuinely think if some of our players progress in the way we hope then top 6 isn't impossible.

Of course I would like to be promoted...

However I reckon we would need a massive injection of talented new players to have a chance of being promoted. I cannot atm see that happening.

The squad as it stands does need strengthening... so let's see how recruitment goes in the next couple of months.

    Mid table at least?

Depends how the transfer window goes. At the moment, mid table would be great.
