People like him should never be allowed close to a football club/ground.

So let me see if I've got this right.
Coventry City have been through a rough time for quite a while. They somehow found a way to improve their fortunes on the pitch and find themselves challenging for a place at the top table. Then up pops Ashley who has no emotional affiliation to the club who wants to buy the club but doesn't really doesn't want the club because he wanted Derby which he also didn't really want. So he buys the ground and immediately puts pressure on the club probably in an attempt to gain control of the club at a reduced price.
He has demonstrated that he has no regard for the game or football fans. This and his record of dire treatment of employees, shows who he really is.
Dai is right, he should never get near another club.

Ashley, the fat tw@t, should have joined Prickford on a one way excursion to Doha.

What an objectionable piece of filth. Cov had a licence to occupy the ground from the previous owners. They went bust and Ashley's business which bought the ground say the licence is not valid.

They have offered Cov a new licence at less favourable terms, probably a higher rent and other new t & c's.

Ashley is the UK's downmarket Trump equivalent.

    Robbie's update awaited.

If he tries a take over I hope the fit and proper person rules are adopted to the max extent to keep him out of football.

In my view he is fit for f@ck all and totally improper.

Andy mate, nothing to add, that’s pretty much it and nobody really knows any more yet. Seems Frazers offered a new licence mirroring the old one before the admin date, but SISU couldn’t sign it, as we’re in the middle of a take over, and Frazers didn’t own the stadium at the time.
I haven’t got a fugging clue what’s going to be the outcome, just we’re being fuggedover as fans yet again.

Can't understand this. Without Wasps and CCFC there is only income from exhibitions and the odd concert. Unless the fat test wNts to knock it down for a retail park extension!!!!
I also thought there was some sort of give back clause in the original transfer to Wasps?
