    went to out local stadium tonight to watch us v Liverpool, capacity 52,500.Tomorrow night it is hosting Wallabies v Springboks and Sunday Broncos v West Tigers (rugby league). Surely Swansea can have a larger multi purpose stadia (forgot to add, free public transport to and from ground with ticket)

    According to 2015 GDP figures we are the 9th wealthiest nation and Australia is the 19th. We should be expanding to about 32,000 as soon as possible.

    The stadium expansion (first phase?) would increase the capacity to c26,600

    Wish they would get on with it.

    Think the club is missing out on growing the fan base. This phased expansion would be the best way.

    We would easily fill a stadium of 30k - 35k but sadly we will never get to that stage at the liberty....

    We just need to get on with it really. All this pissing around and time is moving on.
    It reminds me of the statistic that in the time they've been trying to sort another runway at Heathrow, China has built 30 new airports.
    Just build it already !

    The club have had long enough now to give some concrete answers why there is nothing happening on the expansion front.......It is wearing thin now jinx coming out saying positive things only to end the sentence "Hopefully"....Having talked to a few trust bods over the weekend it seems we are nowhere closer now than we were a few years ago apart from actually buying the stadium that the council are very eager to get rid of.........I hope to god jinx does not buy it without making sure we can get the extension we so desperately need. If he does buy then we could be up **** street without a paddle. Come on jinx we need a bigger stadium now and not when we finally get relegated which will happen one day if we cant move away from being a small club in a big pond.......Come out and tell us what the problems are why we have not even started our extension like other clubs have......Hopefully dont give anyone confidence it will ever happen.....
