Having been on the Barbican earlier this week I was reminded by all the plaques near the Pilgrims Memorial of how many trips started from this spot. It dawned on me that in the last three or four years too many Argyle Players must have read these inscriptions as well. Returning home Wednesday evening and catching up with three days of web news,I discover someones shown Dickinson those same plaque inscriptions, and he as made a break for freedom too !!! It did seem strange that I had to go to Plymouth to be devoid of knowing what was happening about Argyle,OK a few articles in the local paper but no signs anywhere I went that Argyle existed. Certainly no Argyle shirts or colours around a few glam club shirt colours around but hopefully they where visitors,quite depressing really and the news doesn't get any better.
