What a drain on the club's finances he has been. It seemed when he signed he would be a useful addition to the squad but, alas, it wasn't to be. One of TP's least successful signings. Compare that with Sorrenson. Sorry to see Thomas leave as he has served us well but things move on and he leaves with thanks from everyone associated with the club, same goes for Wilko who did his bit as a wholehearted defender.

Agreed PP...I was genuinely hopeful that Palacios would rediscover himself, unfortunately t'was not to be.

Could have been as good as the Toure's
    in my opinion

Just noticed that Jamie Ness has been retained. I'm surprised he's been ever been seen!!

I agree with the comments re: Palacious , and I would say ditto re: Pennant , who I think has more talent than he ever managed to display , I feel he could have and should have done more with his time at Stoke.

Palcious wasn't a bad signing, it was simply the fact that TP didn't want him as part of the Crouch deal. He showed flashes of what he was capable of, but he was never shown the support or given the opportunity needed to perform at the level needed.

Irony: "Its too windy for WP to play tonight" said TP in his pre match interview!

The interviewer should have responded with "Why the **** to you buy him when you have the windiest ground in the country"?

I agree, however when a player cant even stay slim and looked like yan molby then thats very poor as a professional footballer. He was on £35000 a week and couldnt be arsed to get fit.

Oh I agree totally, any player who earns that sort of money has to take responsibility.

Lol, Wilko a wholehearted defender, I should blooming coco. Loved him playing for us but I held my breath when he put a tackle in.

're Palacios I think the fact he had been attached to the Crouch deal says how much everyone thought of him. I don't think I saw enough of him to know if he could have done more. And you are right, he didn't keep himself fit.

Lol again 're Wilko, that'll keep me smiling for a couple of hours.:emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm
