Most pundits have us down as home banker.
I am not so sure, not because I believe Exeter are any good, but simply because I rate Tisdale very highly. In fact I would have liked him dahn ar grahnd. I have absolutely no doubt he will have a plan for Saturday - witness last seasons result.
    Question is will CP?
I had my doubts last week and regrettably was proved right. Megson outdid Powell hands down

I would like to see us play a 433 for this match.

Sullivan in for Hamer. The back four should stay the same. Play Hollands, Jackson and Pritchard in the middle, BWP up on his own, with Waggy and Green supporting from the wings.

You are right, Houndal, Tisdale has done a superb job at Exeter. He has been there as manager for five years already. I didn't think it was that long.

We will win, though. The improvement is there for all to see. It won't be easy, but three points are coming our way.

    COYR!

Will be a tough game as Tisdale has done a terrific job down there. That said, since we last played them they have lost a few key players (Harley and our very own Taylor being one).

Another quick point- as we are trying to play football in the same way to Exeter, I hope that the game will open up more than against Sheff Weds. With that, as I think we have the better players think this will play in to our hands.

CP's plan should be to get Danny Green fit ASAP. I think he'd have enjoyed playing against Wednesday's LB on monday.

I really rate Tisdale too H...

He really knows his onions and it's surely only a matter of time before he moves on to bigger and better things.

If we score early we'll win comfortably. However, if Exeter come and frustrate us as Sheff Wed did and we revert to hoof ball. I shall be picking Franco Jnr up and walking out...!!

We do not have the players to play in that vain... Simple as that...!!

Megson did outwit Powell last week but then compare their managerial experience. A bit like playing Michael Smith against John Terry...experience would tell. I'm not defending Powell, to me his weakness is still using his subs correctly, however he's doing alright for me so far but the odd bit of naivety will creep in at times.
I reckon 4-4-2 again with the only change Green for Wagstaff.
    3-1 to us.

    Cheers, Crack.

I have been disappointed with Stephens and Hayes of late, so out they go.

Jackson scores goals, but I would rather he did this from a central role - thus freeing up the left wing.

Waggy does not deserve to be dropped - but I want to see Green in the same side!

The bullets supplied for BWP would be quality. Just perfect for a goal-machine.

Im going on a 4-0 win prediction, powell will have rollacked the team after that crap the other night no doubt and what ive been told today he has asked the players to stop long ball so will see if that has worked. He will no doubt make changes so i expect green to come in for hollands and perhaps hayes dropped for euell up front,if we can get a loan striker before friday then he might start, ive heard james constable today at oxford and possibly the bristol city forward pittman which would be interesting. But if he gets manager of month i expect a defeat as the jinx will strike!!!!!!

I see Green is still ill with a virus. I'd play Pritchard and have Waggy on the bench.

I'm with SirJohn. I have no problem with CP picking the same starting team. He does seem to lack the courage to try to change the game. Megson is getting too much credit for outwitting CP on Monday. At least 2 of his subs were for injuries rather than tactical changes and C**ton Morrisson did pretty much nothing of interest except stand under the ball when a Charlton head nodded it on at the near post.

In the second half it was clear that Hollands and Stephens were tired and were second to everything. The game clearly needed the energy of Pritchard to pick up the loose balls and when Jose went off that was even more the case. CP could have switched Waggy to behind BWP rather than expect Jason to do something that Hayes couldn't do. If Green had been on the bench I guess he'd have made another like for like swap.

I really hope it is just inexperience and not a lack of imagination. I expect us to play better on Saturday but I wonder if Cort should come in to dominate at defensive (and attacking) set pieces...?

We'll be able to have a look at Cort on Tuesday. It will also be interesting to compare Sullivan to Hamer.

I am no fan of that player but he had a lot to do to score, twisting his neck to meet a ball that changed its trajectory close to him and at speed.

It was instinctive and comes from being an experienced player. Give credit where due whatever you think of the rest of his performance (and career).

the striker i think we could get is pittman at bristol city very quick and for his age could do a decent job in our league, not getting games under his belt at the moment would surely be an ideal choice to get on loan for rest of the season has anyone seen the latest free list?

    Too excited to sleep, apparently?

You are lucky your first game is today and not last Monday. Nothing "new look" then, just the same old dross we have been treated to for years.

There's a couple predicting an away win - Sunday Mirror was the one I saw.

Tisdale is a tremendous manager, but IMO this isn't going to be their day.

    3-1 to us.
