Been meaning to ask this on the Rangers board, and this is out of genuine interest rather than wumming, what's the thoughts on playing your way up through the leagues? I don't mean is it the "right" thing to do, but rather what's your attitude towards the reality of 3 years of playing uber-diddy sides week in week out? Will you be bored senseless by the standard of your opponents (and presumably the drop in quality, at least initially, of your team) or will the novelty value of visiting new grounds etc sustain your interest? Will you be as likely to go to the games etc etc?
Genuinely looking forward to it now. And maybe the Glasgow derby had gone a wee bit stale anyway with the amount of times the teams played each other. Another bonus will be watching the slow painful death of the SPL. I look forward to that.

It'll just be nice to see some fitba again. It's a possibility of SPL2 next season. But who knows. It may well have just been a bluff that failed to bully the SFL.
From what I've read, Green's all but promised his new signings it will be SPL2 next season. Time'll tell if he's talking ****e again or not.
SPL2 is Regan's baby, not Green's. Perhaps he's had assurances from Regan. Who knows. Having said that Green isny doing our SPL2 invitation chances any good by calling them all bigots
Fair dos I just wonder how attractive and exciting games v Annan and East Stirling will seem in January and February when you're 30 points ahead of second place
I'm actually looking forward to it. It would be great to be up in the SPL challenging for the title but if we have to work our way up, then so be it. I'll miss the Old Firm games but probably most of all the Europeans trips. Nothing better than excuse to piss of for a week of boozin.
if we had stayed in the SPL we would probably have been in a relegation battle all season and been beaten by the tic 4 times, so glad that's not happening. once we settle down and the new team players get to know each other a bit better, we should be able to challenge for titles, but after watching the brechin game, I think there might be a few close games along the way.
Regan was interviewed on STV tonight and he says there is practically no chance there will be an SPL2 next season.
