I really hope we get this kid! He's only 19 but he's the kind of robbenesque player we've been missing; pacey with great technique and flair and he's scored some peachy goals for Genk. My only concern is that all the reports I've seen suggest an immediate loan back or loan to Anderlecht as part of a possible deal for Lukaku. I'm getting tired of our transfer policy of spending shed loads on 'proven' talent... Where's the excitement in that? Where's our Javi Hernandez ? Even bloody Wigan occasionally have an eye for talent, but we would be able to hold on to players like Valencia. Remember deals like Flo, Poyet, Desailly etc. I can't think of a player that we've bought in the last 5 years that I can honestly say had turned out to be a bargain, but provided we don't pay silly money then I might be able to say that about De Bruyne!
i havent seen the kid play but i hear that he isnt too bad... i think hes got quite agood scoring record at U21 is it? will have to look at him first before judging him though i guess! at least we are talking about lots of young talent coming to the bridge!
