I will give you certain points he made but can't really remember everything in detail but i'm sure it will be up on the website later. Anyway he was asked about Luka Modric going to united and he basically said what we all knew that we won't be selling or entertaining any bids at all for Luka Modric or any of our key players. The reporter even went on to ask "what if fergie comes in with a 30mil bid" Redknapp straight away said basically No it's not happening. "We don't want to lose Luka Modric who is a fantastic player and important to the future of spurs". He basically went onto to say he wants 3 top class players and levy is currently "working in getting those players in" He then goes onto say if we can get those players in we could well be challenging for the title in harrys eyes obviously. Meaning the players we are looking must be pretty good which is positive. The only negative thing was Harry going on about how great our current strikers are. Plus " robbie keane could still be in with a chance at spurs next season"..... Harry probably playing it safe with that one It ended with the reporter saying " so Harry for everyone out there and clubs interested in your players, can you confirm Luka Modric and Bale is not for sale? " .... Harry replied " NOT FOR SALE" ..... Now do one Bacon nose and the stupid press!!!! THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE!!!! COYS!!!!!

He completely dismissed the Chelsea rumours and basically said " I'm very happy at spurs" Did the usual it's worked out great for both parties with spurs as we were in trouble before he came hahahah Good old harry!!! But he wants to win the title with spurs. Take that how you want but atleast some positive news coming from the man. Now Levy get down on it and get those top players in!!!! Oh and for the record!!! The press will still be doing their usual bullshit to try and engineer a move but that's now Luka Modric confirming over the international break " I will be at spurs next season" ... Levy telling us fans on the official website " we won't be entertaining any bids for any key players" and now Harry today saying " Luka Modric and Gareth bale not for sale" ...... so any tottenham doom and gloom merchants or any rival fans who still believe we will sell if United come sniffing need to get with the facts. If we are telling the fans their not for sale then that's what it means. Hope that's all cleared up and we can look forward to strengthening this already excellent side of ours!!! COYS!!!!

None of this is new, of course. Harry has consistently said that none of our stars are for sale, that we are looking to build not sell, etc. Harry has spent too many years at clubs where financial constraints have forced him to sell players, and even then he managed to keep some cracking players, at West Ham and Pompey, where had it not been for him those clubs would have stood no chance of keeping them.

I wouldn't mind giving Keane another chance. He seems to play extrememly well in the internationals. Maybe give him a few pre season-games and assess him then. As for Modric, its good to finally hear a difinitive answer from the managers mouth that he's not for sale. Cheers Don.
As with our other striker though SS, Keane doesn't suit playing the lone striker role. If Jol were to come in for him, he'd probably get him playing well, again.
