Obviously loves it here and thinks the club is organized well to achieve success. Praises Cortese, so obviously no truth in the idea put around by some that he is impossible to work with.
I loved it when he said "It´s one of the happiest days of my life". Legend. And well done Cortese. Just hope now we can add one or maybe two quality players to the squad. If not, I believe we still have enough quality and depth in the squad to get us promoted. P.s Did anyone see on the interview to Adkins, Butterfield taking the piss out of bialkowski (I think). I found it hilarious.
Also saw Jaidi in a pro-vest....has he been back in training for long? Wondered what Butterfield was doing...thought he was going to be our spare goalie!!!
Yeesss!! Absolutely magic interview! Watching his goal celebration against Brighton genuinely sent shivers down my spine COYR.
Always amazed that he didn't get booked. He not only tore off his shirt (just for us ladies), but then leapt over the hoardings and threw himself at the fans who spilled onto the pitch (well as near as you can get at old Brighton ground). Wonderful moment.
Something like this I'd imagine http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2560436,00.html (Though I haven't actually got around to reading that yet, nor indeed watching the interview on Player)
He basically said it was an easy decision for him to make and that signing a new contract was one of the best days of his life as he loves being at the club. Mentions his partnership with Jos and says he is enjoying playing with him and they will keep getting better and better. He also talks about Rickie being an amazing player who could play anywhere on the pitch, even in defense.... It also shows all of Jose's goals from last season and the interviewer tells him to bang one in against Bristol tomorrow..
I love Player (and I'm not on commission). If have a quiet few minutes I watch highlights from past games. Watched the Brighton highlights from League 1 only last month.
