Could not have written this better myself............ http://blogs.soccernet.com/stokecity/archives/2012/01/gone_with_the_wind_1.php
Thing is Waddo, we have ALL been saying the for nigh on two seasons, the difference is that now (as the author says) our home form is badly affected. Well, everybody knows MY remedy!
Pulis has never given skillful players a chance, I remember when he was at Plymouth, their fans complaining their best skillful player (Buzsacky) not getting on. During TP's time in charge Buzsacky was involved in the grand total of 7 games, 1 start but was subbed and 6 as a sub to try to turn the game around. Tp's like a pub team manager, plays he buddies instead of his best team.
But he couldnt even manage the proverbial P**S Up at the Brewery Apart from all his other failings He can not possibly motivate with such a negative and favourites attitude Admittedly he came back fot the 2nd half of the game against the Villa after his sad loss but you can bet the inspiration for the second half was DK's saying "do it for the Guvnor" Pulis got a "hero's" reception from the fans whom he still continues to ignore SiS
That article sums up PERECTLY how I see it. Shall we e-mail it to Tony Pulis. Or like the fans, would he just ignore it.
Is this the Busaky who played for QPR against Wigan on Saturday and looked on fire and was firing in shots on target. He was previously ignored by Warnock. Also Morrison had more shots on his own than we managed in the whole game as a team Great article I thought and agree that we have been saying this about 'going' for it at home much more. I think I can say that I have encouraged TP to do exactly that and been concerned about his negativity. Why can we do it against Spurs, ArseNIl et al but not WBA, QPR, Villa, Newcasle?? I have to say that I fear for Saturday week against a resurgent Sunderland!
A little strong in places but very apt and lets face it - common sense! The problem is, the results as of late have been pretty good (poinst wise) so people will just refer to 8th place and our Europa draw - very short sighted IMO. I can see, Fulham, Everton, Sunderland and maybe even WB & OPR finishing above us by the end of the season!
