Hadn't realised Steve Kean played for Swansea. 1 appearance for Alloa and 4 for Swansea doesn't really make for a glittering career in British football. (plus an unknown amount for an unknown Portuguese side).
..and Rodgers' playing career is glittering? Hardly. I don't think managers with stellar playing careers necessarily make the best ones. Sometimes, but not always. Fergie and Wenger spring to mind.
