Sad news that Steve Mokone passed away on March 20, aged 82. Steve played for City in 1959/60 season and scored in the win against Liverpool. He left City to join Barcelona. Steve was the first black South African to play professionally in Europe RIP Steve.
Yes I remember him. He was a very skillful player. Unfortunately his life took a bad turn and he had a long prison sentence in the US. RIP Kalamazoo.
