Scot Rendall hit 4 in Woking's 6-1 win over Dover JP got 1 in Grimsby's 7-0 trashing of Alfreton and Jon Akinde also got 1 in Barnet'4-0 win against Dartford and so called experts on the radio say teams in the Conference are as good as League 2 utter rubish its the fact that Confrence teams don't have financial fair play rules and when promoted to the football league they have 3 years until they have to comply which is far too long we should all play by the same rules
That doesn't make sense. When in Rome ....... I don't even know what the fair play rules are but it's hardly fair if a promoted team doesn't have to comply for 3 years. Sounds like an unfair advantage to me. Could it give them such an advantage that could contribute significantly to a further promotion at the expense of teams that have to comply?
Its like this Ron the rules state L2 clubs are not spend more than 55% of club income on players wages L1 60% no restrictions apply in the Conferance and for 3 seasons when promoted to the football league so small clubs with rich owners can skip through L2 and then do well for a season or 2 in L1 Stevenage Crawley and Fleetwood all with no supporters go into L1 and prosper until the 3 seasons are up last season that was it for Stevenage and they end up bottom of L1 Crawley are this season having to play to the rules while Fleetwood have two seasons left Championship teams were exempt as well until this season so not a level playing field so maybe the backers who wanted the takeover wanted us to get relegated first
