Well done.
Very well said Dribbles. Such a huge contrast to previous seasons, we're playing some of the best football I've seen since the 08-09 season and we have one of the best players in the world, Allen. Hopefully we'll have enough to sustain a top four challenge.
Those stats are all well and good like, but how about just watching our games and the team play, our style of footie is obviously getting better, not perfect or as good as it can be yet but deffo on the up. Magic la, you leave Allen alone he's boss and with his small stature obviously the right player to have on the goal line at all times for last ditch clearances
Unlike after the Arsenal game, I thought we looked a genuine top-four side yesterday. No, I don't think we'll win the league, but without tempting fate against Chelsea, I have confidence that we can compete with anyone in that league now, and we're building and growing. Yes, we rely on Suarez, but imagine what United would NOT have achieved without RVP last season? Even if we get beat again on sunday, providing we play as well as we did yesterday (and we ARE ****ing good, even if we're relying on Luis to finish off the majority of chances we create) we have a far easier second half of the season to look forward too. Hold your nerve Brendan, it'll be hard with good footballing sides like Arsenal, Everton and City about, but we deserve to be there, in the mix fighting for a top four place. THAT is progress.
I got so drunk yesterday, I can't remember a thing. Haven't watched the match again yet. **** me, never been so drunk in my life. Did we play well?
Shame you do not get anything for over-the-top sugary articles by pro-Liverpool journos... #feetontheground
McNulty never gives us credit and my link was about how we can't look at simply we played well as we did not get the win or the point. Nothing sugary about it, read the articles next time Smithy.
Just watched MOTD. Bit gutted now. We seemed to be the better side, certainly had enough chances to earn at least a point.
Isn't it great to be gutted that we didn't quite manage to best a team that at home has stuffed everyone else and costs about 200 million more on paper than us? I'll take this kind of pain compared to the last few years,...but the fact we still get gutted is the best bit.
