Most people will want you to reach the final, including myself not sure how many will want you to actually win it tho! Would be hard to stomach!
Most people other than Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham want us to beat Barca, just of people I know anyway. I've seen many United and City fans wishing us luck so fair play to them.
There's a healthy mix of most who want us to win, but some right bitter ****s who don't as well I was watching the chat-box on GC last night seeing Skinman and Eddie Veee talk ****e for the whole game...classic. "Anti Football" "Chelsea are ****" "Barca will win this, I've just backed them at 5-2 with £200" "Chelsea need to score two to win this game" Then when it finished: "Chelsea are ****s" "Barca will smash them next week" "Chelsea are ****s" Etc etc etc ****ers
Forgetting the final for a moment, I think a lot of people want to see us beat Barca because they are fed up with the Barca love in. P.S they play boring football. Yes they have quality players and show moments of brilliance but they over pass and games involving them have no pace and are invariably dull. They are the Mariah Carey of football i.e why sing one note when fifty will do!?!?
100 That is what I've always said about Arsenal too. What is the joy in watching a team pass the ball 50 times across the pitch only to do nothing with it? At least Pep got it right.....the idea is to score and it really doesn't matter how.
Great result last night putting the tippy tappy spaniards in their place - really hope you can do the same next week. As an english supporter I want english teams to do well in Europe, whoever they may be - I think most of the resentment comes from teams that actually have some expectation they may win it themselves one day, however deluded that may be, and see previous wins as some sort of bragging rights.
They are just petrified they'll come fourth and you still take their place away from them. With their form right now it's based upon wishful thinking

I have to say I think you guys played a near perfect game, if you had gone at Barca they would have destroyed you, its about playing to strengths and weaknesses and I thought Cahill was immense! Drogba has got to sort himself out tho, I think even the other Chelsea players were starting to look embarrassed by the end.
Least then they will be in the correct division to reflect the gates they get. 15k for a premier league club....really?
I'm not really bothered, it's never nice for any fan to see their team go down so if they do I certainly have nothing but sympathy for them but in truth they have never really been our proper rivals as such not on the scale as Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham or Leeds/Pool. There is no team I'd really want to see down, can't think of anything more depressing and glad I've never had to experience it with us as many Chelsea fans have.
That is probably right - but the Chelsea fans on here are probably more anti-Spurs than anyone else and get some reaction I think. If we do finish fourth and Chelsea finish below us and get to the CL final you can't really expect us to be behind a Chelsea win can you. But if we get third and Arsenal are fourth I think you can expect a huge flood of support!
Exactly so. If we are 3rd or 5th, I will be supporting Chelsea (as said elsewhere). 4th and I am not. I would like Barca to knock you out cause I am getting concerned you might do it.
