So quiet here. No mention of the 1.0 win in Holland, Manga's injury or Oshilaja being loaned out to Gillingham?

Bluey - share your concerns pal, but given the lack of anything inspirational to discuss, I think most are just on holiday from this place.

It's strange when your on a real holiday you sometimes wish you didn't have to go back. Unfortunately, the difference is on a real holiday you don't have the choice, whereas on this forum you do.

I hope I'm wrong and it'll all come together on the pitch and here, but I've got an uneasy feeling that both are going to suffer this season.

Nevertheless, I'll be both there and on here come what may. <ok>

Pi$$ed down yesterday with more to come tomorrow. I'm getting rust not suntan.

I'll be down there myself Bluey (well just over the Hampshire border anyway) in Christchurch at the end of September. I'll miss the Charlton home game but what the hell, we'll be bottom 6 by then anyway............<laugh>

Just come back from a week further along the coast at Littlehampton in West Sussex. Miles and miles of shingle beach with hardly a soul on them between there and Pagham - brilliant chill out holiday cottage week with the 4 dogs (the wife, her sister and two four legged ones <laugh>)

Now now Sparks. It will be Pandy and 'the tin" under the stairs for you if you're not careful. Is Pandy still with us? No mention recently.

Can be a beautiful part of the world here when the weather is kind. As it is today.

Visited a vineyard yesterday despite the rain. A very interesting business started from scratch 7 years ago with no income for the first 4 years but now doing very well. At £27 a bottle I'm not surprised. A local 5 star hotel charges £77 a bottle for the same wine. <yikes>

Just got back to sunny Cheshire after a week in Rhayader (Royal Welsh Show Week - and fishing the river Wye). Been watching the comments on my phone (when I could get a signal) but not posting.

After Oshilaja saying he wanted to stay and fight for a place he disappeared pretty damned quick. Might need him if Manga's scan doesn't give us good news on Monday.

Why haven't we sold Whitts yet? At least it would force Slade's hand in the centre of the park.

Pilks seems on form with a couple goals.

There, just about caught up for the last week.

Time for the All Blacks and SA together with a glass of red!

Bluey - I'm afraid Pandy has passed on into that big tin in the sky. Didn't mentioned it at the time (about 2 years ago now) for a couple of reasons.

Firstly it was innappropriate as we were all enjoying ourselves in the Premier league at the time <doh><doh>, and secondly I had to bury the tin along with him and didn't want aber digging my garden up........<laugh>

Got a couple of new little canine friends now who don't partake of the stuff - they're mad enough at 18 months old without it. <ok>

Sorry to hear that Sparks. Always a tough time when a loved pet is lost. Good move not divulging the tin whereabouts. Aber would be there like a rat up a drainpipe. Could have had Aber as a new pet I suppose. <whistle>

I guess the 2 new ones keep you fit. What breed are they?

Don't get sucked in to the common misconception when I tell you they're poodles........<laugh>

I was never a "dog person" before I packed in work and the wife decided we'd go down that route, but this pair have changed my mind. Absolutely bloody bonkers and nothing like the perception that I, and I expect a lot of others had about the breed. Forget the prissy shaved and sculptured dog show image - these are long haired bloody hooligans.

As far as the keeping fit is concerned, I've now got muscles on my muscles through keeping up with the buggers.

I did send BfB a picture of my Watford tickets just to keep him involved. Nice too, with Clarkey and Earnie on a Blue background.

Still checking in every now and then but for the first time in a long time I have lost the faith a bit. No faith in the manger, no faith in the owner, and no faith in our playing group. I guess I have lost the faith a lot ;) Still once the first ball is kicked...

I feel exactly the same and I'm hoping some enthusiasm will return when the season kicks off. Not confident though as Started to lose interest during the promotion season due to the dire football on offer.
