    ALL THESE THREADS BCFC .....SOD......NEGATIVES........

    Give over FFS

We know the staff and players follow Twatter and Vanity book and most likely this forum.......

What has or hasn't changed? take the first 6 games:-

    plyd 6 won 0 drew 3 lost 3 GF 10 GA 15=== 3pts

    take the next 5 games:-

    plyd 5 won 0 drew 3 lost 2 GF 5 GA 7 === 3 pts

We have obviously tightened up, we are teaching /training the team to play possession football, obvious from the amount of possession we have in games ! only -2 goal difference in the past.

in weighted betting odds we are likely to finish 14th in the promo race...

... still about 8/1 to reach top 6

reach top 2 anything over 500/1 to 1000/1

lets dream of 4 wins on the trot plyd 15 and we would be in 16th position in the table on 18 points...........its do able!

    LETS GET POSITIVE

4 wins on the trot?.........can't see it myself. And what if all the teams around us win 2,3 or 4 games on the trot? will that put us in a much better position?
Yes, you could say we are panicking, but fear brings on panick and there is now a big BIG fear of our team getting dragged into a relegation fight.
I am finding it very very hard to get positive john...........sorry and all that, but even when we play a team off the park and can't score I still feel negative as that just shows we are still a way off the mark.

We'll get positive when there is reason to be so i.e when we win a league game or 10.

We should have been more than capable of beating the likes of Colchester, Shrewsbury, Bradford, Crewe, Port Vale, Peterborough and yet we've failed every single time and it's just one excuse after another.

As I said last week we ought to be more than capable of getting a minimum of 13 points from the next 6 games, including Crewe away, and that anything less was unacceptable given the opposition. Well we now need 13 points from 5 games which will be beyond us and SOD needs to go now rather than wait around.

    Positive smositive !

Getting rid of Del and Millen got us SoD, who some seem to think is this football Messiah for something he did 6 years ago! You have to ask yourself, were Coppout, Millen, or Del the right choices? No, none of them were. That problem started with a thick as pig s*** board, not "fan pressure". Our worst manager in 30 years and you think people are panicking? Too right!!!!!

Forums highlight the giddy extremes. People reacting to result rather than performance. Result fans if you like.

Saturday was football. Sunday I was training with people including City fans. The attitude away from forums I would describe as pragmatic or stoic.

I work for a robotics engineering firm, with 14 bristol city fans, 2 of which went to Crewe, and said the performance was "just plain bad". I can't comment as I wasn't there, but stats don't look good. Out of 14 of us, one solitary supporter is still behind SOD.

As for closer family, out of all cousins, uncles, and immediate family, I am the only one to renew my season ticket. Unable to make the Brentford game tomorrow, and on offer, none of my colleagues (who don't have season tickets) or family want my seat for the game despite it being free.

Two wildly different attitudes amongst the fans I know and the ones you know Cliftonville.

    I have a dilemma.

5% beer to start, start on a light lager or a saucy 6-7% cider.

Could go one of three ways this ... Just like football.

Not panicking, just being realistic. Am prepared to be patient for now, but 20 games without a win cannot go on for ever

    ....

it has all to do with the wider picture..if we win 4 then that's 4 teams "around us" cant... a cursory look at the next 4 or 5 fixtures would indicate we would climb up a half dozen places at least depending on results not going to go into great detail here...

    .

I would agree, we should do maybe not a team like Peterbro as they slipped up before they played us and were less laid back, but certainly Crewe Colchester and Shrewsbury should have added to our points tally

they certainly do, there is a tad of extremism in my post if you look at it one way, 4 on the trot not having won yet, yet 3 good responses show more positive than negativo

Really looking towards the run of home games. Making arrangements for every match and attempting to make the best of the days. Meeting up with those who cant go away one, family another, big one for Oldham get some of the comics out and have fun with it all. Panic doesn't doesn't buy a round or come in the coach.

I have only read the relegation word on forums, not heard it. Sketch has been more "how did that happen" v "less get Warnock in to kick it in the air !"

Is result fans the new word? Has to be the stupidest statement for supporters.

I'm going tomorrow to watch a game of football and don't care about the result. Like **** don't i, I'm going tomorrow to hopefully see the team WIN but I suppose going to every home game 5-10 always makes me a results fan, then I will take it.

Results fan sums up too many. Slagging players off, slagging everything off is not support or being a fan [fanatic].

Bill Shankly : "If you can't support us when we lose or draw, don't support us when we win."

You will always get people slagging off people, it's what we do in real life. If my wife pissed me off by doing something or not doing something. I might be in work slagging them off, but I still love them with all my heart.

Does that make me not supportive of them?

It's the same on here, people get frustrated and use this forum to vent their anger towards the players, simply because they don't want to say it in the crowds at the ground, to look unsupportive at the time.

Does that make them unsupportive or more supportive?

If players choose to read these forum's they do so at their own risk, but they also know they might only here a short time, but we are in it for life.

I've only ever slagged off Kilkenny because I think he's looking for other's to blame for his mistakes.

Is result fans the new word? Has to be the stupidest statement for supporters. Apt for some alleged support on forums. I have seen those attempting to be positive and influencing others derided as "happy clappers", perverse when considering the nature of the term fan.

Form is contagious. All we need is a single win, and our season could turn around.
