Well it's my turn this week. Watched it with my son (7) this morning after sitting with him last night and answering his questions about the game. Told him that Skrtel should've been sent off for a shocking challenge and also thay Charlie Adam appears to be immune to yellow cards. MOTD appeared to have forgotten that Skrtel injured Bendtner. Completely reckless and terrible challenge that was 10 times worse than Mclean's in the first half but never even got a mention. That show is a joke. It was also far worse that Cattermole's challenge on Tiote last week but never got any air time! Before anyome says "don't watch it", my son watches it every week as he lives watching football and he gets me up on a Sunday to watch it with him whilst his Mam is in bed so I really can't "not watch it". It's part of our Sunday ritual
Watching it now mate I take it we are on last as we beat a big team? which also means they'll waffle all day about Liverpools 3 game losing streak and Stevie G being their saviour.
Let me know what you think talc. Apparently we were just as lucky this year as we were with the beach ball last! Knew they'd find a way to stick that one in. As for our "luck", I personally thought the shot by Campbell which led to the goal was absolute quality and deserved to set up a goal at least! But it was a pure fluke apparently. I Thu.k I might subscribe to sky just so u can record football foray for my son instead if that ****e!
Usually watch football first mate but, missed it last night so taped MOTD this morning instead Stoke game on now so looks like we are on last surprise surprise (no pun intended).
I watched last night and was annoyed that Skrtel's foul on Bendtner wasn't shown, nor Adam's numerous fouls. But then that would have made Liverpool look like the poor team they are. Once again there was little credit given to us. 'MON is doing a great job' got a mention but it was just a throwaway comment at the end. Still I never expect anything better from the BBC and the old boys club they have presenting MOTD these days. Time for a shake up I think. Far too comfortable.
Coverage was a shambles as usual. What about McClean in the first half when he nutmegged two of their players - surely that was worth showing?
Just watched it mate and we were lucky apparently, Dalgliesh reckoned we were no better than them apart from scoring and getting 3 points in my book we were better than them. Little bit of praise for us from an ex Scouser fair enough, as for the match it looked like we only had the one attack in each half then it was all Liverpool.
I agree its all a little too comfortable with the top 4 getting all the glory, Liverpool get am arse kissing from 2 ex scouse players and the craas get one from Mary Poppins. Jug lugs is just going through the motions waiting for the cheque from his next potato based snack advert and we don't get **** all coverage unless one of the top 4 have beaten us. **** the BBC. I hate to say it, as I detest the Aussie twat who owns it, but sky's football first makes it irrelevant now as a medium anyway.
Yes I did watch it last night and thought it was a joke. Showed nothing of us apart from the goal. My recollection of the game was a bit different to there's! Goals on Sunday is much better that motd too!
My 10 yo son loves watching it with me on Saturday nights. We often have a chuckle at how we are always last or second last unless we've been twatted & then we're second on. They should rename it "Snatch of the day." BBC= Bigoted Boring ****s. Despise them as an organisation. Sky are nee better mind & I'd never line that Aussie bastards pockets, just as well I can watch it all on stream for **** all. Up your's Murdoch, hock to.
as I live in Canada I haven't seen it in a few years (not that I miss the bias). Anyway I'm assumming its Lineker, Hansen, lawrenson and that ****ing idiot Shearer. They could all play in their day, but they need to broaden their horizons because they are getting a **** rep talking about the top 4-5 teams all the time. Last time I looked the EPL had 20 teams in it, start showing some respect to the other teams in the league BBC
