    Ok, so the unwashed have finished a solitary point above us.
    A great achievement for a team aiming for yewrope 4 months ago. Well done lads, agent Bruce will be happy.

    I'll quite happily settle for Total domination during the two local derbies and the guarantee of Top flight football next season when we will do it again.

    You never said that though, you said we never win much.

    A lot of us still don't feel Bruce is the man, but the taret was top 10, and we achieved it despite having a woeful season.

    I'm taking that as a ****ing hefty positive.

    I can't remember any of us targetting Europe pre season, clearly we flirted with the idea when 7 points clear in 5th, but we knew it was never on really.

    When we were 5th, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs were behind us.

    I did think for a while we may hold 6th, but as soon as Liverpool got Suarez the writing was on the wall.

    We'd have taken 10th pre season, we feel a little disappointed, if generally satisfied with it now.

    Like it or not mate, that's progress, however slow.

    It was only around December that your supporters realized they were nowhere near good enough for Europe. Anyhow as I said , well done.

    However , your ambitions have sunk comically and this does make me chuckle. I wonder if your ambitions will be as low next season.

    Maybe finish one point ahead of QPR and call it a success?

    I'm never one for making bold predictions, as they will bite you on the arse.

    I'll comment on my thoughts for next season in a couple of months.

    It's normal in any walk of life to shift your ambitions and maintain a target, it's better to have something to aim for than to give up altogether, wouldn't you agree?

    Refocus, or give up?

    (I'll be on Fifa later on, we'll decide it that way ;))
