**** no. It's a no-lose situation mate, even if we get stuffed in every game this season we will be in a much better position for it in 12 months time than we were 12 months ago.

Worst case scenario is we drop back to the Championship , yippie yo-yo !. My only worry is that we spend to much trying to stay up . A nice inexpensive drop back to the Championship while retaining money or a nice surprising stay for a while in the Premier & saving more money is priority to me . It's a long summer & were in the Premier , good players will hunt us down for an opportunity to play in the Greatest club football league in the world . Hang tight , it's all good . Have a good one !!

I know what you mean, maybe worried is a bit harsh. I am chuffed and excited as well.

Just hate the summer, all this transfer talk but nothing actually happening.

My main concerns are that Taylor and Rangel both go, which leaves us with Williams, and 3 new defenders, and a new goalie. Which does not give them much time to gel together, even if they are brought in before pre season starts. But it may be that they are not brought in until half way through pre season, then it would be a big rush to form an organised and well oiled defense before the start of the season. That is all!

Happy in general, but a summer of sitting, watching, waiting, is already starting to annoy me.

Don't be so despondent! A lot of clubs would give their right arm to be where the Swansea are at present.

I do believe that some of the players that got us to the premier league may not have been good enough to sustain us there and I don't think we'll be signing players of less quality after all the hard work the club have done to get there. I prefer to think we will end up with better players who's aim will be to keep us up.

I am certainly not thinking of coming straight back down to the Championship before we've even kicked a ball!

Brendan will be encouraging positive thoughts to all his players, and it's the fans responsibility to give the same from the terraces!

Yes, I'm frustrated with a lack of signings at the moment, but they will come but this must also be the right ones to keep the style of play the same that has got us to the promised land in the first place. That way I feel we can genuinely compete with the good majority of clubs outside of the top four or five – yes, their players should be better (on paper at least), but I feel the Swans will surprise a few of them before the season's over...

    Keep the faith!

The departure of Dorus has certainly dampened spirits a little as I really didn't expect him to walk away but once Brendan starts picking up the new playere he wants am sure will feel a lot happier.

Keeper is a very important position especially the way we play so I expect that our manager to have certain targets in mind and once he gets back from his break I expect to see some movement in the transfer market.

i must say i'm a little concerned about the player's leaving us, if we can't get our better player's to stay, surely that would put off other's thinking of coming here?

Nah, there will always be players at the sharp end of the championship willing to take the chance to impress in the premier league, players like Graham for instance. For Rangel, Pratley, de Vries and all I can see why they might think this is the highest that their stock might ever be, a poor start to the season or an injury could see them benched and ending up back in the championship with nobody wanting them in 12 months time. There are hundreds of others who would grab the chance though, that is what we have to remember and we are in a better position than ever before to capitalise on that.

I can't believe anyone is worried. we should be here enjoying the prospects of the forth comming season. everyone is relaceable. Buck will pick the right people to come in. they will be picked to suit our style of play. we will be ok. players dont stay for ever and if they dont want to be here, would they put it in for us anyway.
sit back and enjoy the ride.

    Worried?

I'v been excited ever since the final. I wish it started tomorrow. I couldn't care less is we lost 4-0 every game and dropped down to the Championship *, we'll have had the experience and financially, we'll be stable for years. It couldn't get better.

*I could really, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if it happened.

Okay, seems like I am the only one. I am not saying I am not excited. Just realistically concerned. I'm sure in a few weeks time I will be buzzing again. Just at a low at the moment, reality is setting in.

Still cannot complain, would never complain, this is the highest point of my life as a swansea supporter.

Just wish it was August already. The summer break breaks me!

Just enjoy the ride and go with the flow!!! Were Premier League might only be for a season but we can say "We were there". I do think that the Premier League will suit us with our style of football, yes the top six side will be difficult, take a fair few points of mid table and the bottom half. I've got money on us finishing 14th, there a lot more worst teams than us there. Do have a few concerns but I'll leave that for Brendan to sort out, as we know he will. Onwards and Upwards, Champions League next!!!!!!!!!:emoticon-0103-cool:

i love the transfer talk!! gets me through the day sometimes in work lol

Ok people might get a bit worried that we have lost Pratley and De Vries (not me personally as they are easily replaceable and deep down i think everyone knew these two would jump ship come promotion or not) but we are linked with a host of players who are a lot better...and i know they haven't signed yet but i'm sure Rodgers will replace them with better players....after all we are premier league!!

I'm not worried like people have already said there will always be players moving on.... We have made it to the premiership which will put us in good stead for the future. We will get replacements for these players and I beleive in BR to pick out the gems! Look forward to us being the first welsh team in the prem! <ok>
