I watched the game and was thinking the very same thing about their situation and ours being very close to the same scenario. If you want to make a small fortune it's best to start with a large fortune and then buy a football club is an old adage that rings true with both clubs right now. Common sense flies out the window when you invest a lot of your money in a particular place for one reason or another especially if it's a commodity that you truly don't comprehend. Letting the use of your money be in the hands of people who aren't up to snuff is stupid but trying the cheap option is certainly not an option and yet it still happens. Although I think we are somewhat lucky to have Steve Lansdown as our leader but many times I have questioned his sanity when it came to major decisions and I have often dreamed about where we might be if he had made better choices at certain times. I wonder if he has ever woken up and seriously asked himself about the decisions made by himself, and a certain MA, and if those bad choices are the sole reason for us scrambling with over-priced and over-paid mercenaries to stay alive in the Championship? Should NP be asking "what the hell have I taken on with this lot'? because I suspect Rafa may be asking the same question and could soon be out on his ear. Welcome to football lads.
