http://evertontime.com/ - counting the days since anything happened.

Anyone complaining about our dealings, be thankful we're not Everton

Yeah they have a better sqaud/team than us, so don't need as much improvements.

It's not much better than ours, they don't exactly have much depth to their squad and have very little to spend

    They do.

    - Stronger defence
    - Equal midfield
    - Decent attack force

And considering their consistant top 10 finishes, they have virtually no urgency to buy any new players in like we do - especially when you consider how tight Everton's spending is.

Thing is they are trying to find a invester but have been unsuccessful and are living in a pretty big shadow

    I'd say:

equal defence - Baines=Jose, Jagielka=Collo, Distin is just a lump of a CB whereas Saylor is a more skillful, but less effective CB, and Simmo and Coleman are both still improving.
equal midfield - They have Cahill, Fellaini and Arteta (and Rodwell, but he's leaving). We have Tiote, Barton, Jonas, Cabaye and Marveaux. On average, they are about equal.
equal attack - They have Saha, a big lump with no footballing ability, and Beckford, who doesn't do any work but just taps the ball in when he gets a half-chance. We have Ba, who is a good PL forward, and Best, who does a lot of work to create chances.

And Shola is a combination of Beckford and Saha - Does no work and has no footballing ability.

Seriously not wumming here, but i keep hearing this Ba is a good PL forward.

yes he scored 7 goals in 12 games, but 2 were against West Brom and 2 were against Wigan, so scored 3 goals in the 10 other games.

He may very well excel for you, just cant get my head around all this great/good PL forward i keep hearing.

Exactly a goal every 2 games over his career, which includes the Bundesliga. West Ham fans rate him highly, as do you lot (saw a thread from ages ago when you were linked to him).

Disagree with the attack, that's their big weakness. Beckford and Anichebe are very average. Saha's best days are begind him and he's very injury prone. If they had two decent stikers and a couple of all rounders added to their squad they'd be excellent.
