Bullshit pen that. We were in command until that moment.

Lack of firepower still costing us the points in these games though.

I mean, it’s the league. Who cares? We’re in no mans land and will finish second so kind of irrelevant now

I know it probably won't affect our league finish, but it's just another example of a piss weak decision. Especially as VAR checked it and still gave it.

We've been on the wrong end of some absolute whoppers this season.

It’s hard to care now. Season hinges on CL now. Lose on Tuesday and football will die for me until the transfer window opens and I can pin my hopes on spending £300m on Antony, Gourcuff and Sanogo.

I suppose Isak would've stopped the ref giving Everton that pen.

Felt we did enough to win the game, but if you don't take your chances and capitalise when you're in the opposition third, then you inevitably make life harder for yourself.

The penalty call was a load of nonsense though and yet again, VAR more concerned with backing up their mates rather than coming to the correct decision. Lewis Skelly's been an exceptional talent this season, but he's been hard done by a few times. I hope it doesn't knock his confidence moving forward.

Regardless of whether we'd won, drawn or lost, it wouldn't have made a difference anyway as we're pretty much nailed on to qualify for the Champions League, irrespective of whether we finish 2nd or 5th.

League is just a formality at this point. CL is last-chance saloon for silverware. Very, very unlikely to happen for us, but let's just give it our best shot and do the best we can.

Kinda crazy that nearly every game were we've dropped points this Season there's been at least one dubious decision given against us.

Penalty award was ridiculous.
Not surprising , though, given the way the PGMOL have handled Arsenal games for years.

It was a really poor decision. But the fact that it was upheld by VAR, is just another example of how **** VAR is.

I'm not even surprised anymore. I just expect it to **** us over
