Everton/Southampton and Spurs/Stoke

Why do they get to play on the Sunday? Neither games are/were on the tele, but they still got an extra day off from the teams that played yesterday.

It's clear some of our players, particularly the two cb's who struggled yesterday with having to play two games in 2 days, surely we would have benefited if we could have had an extra day off as well...

 

I think we all play New Year's Day so they have a day less to recover for that and we gain one.

 

Yeah that's true, but would have been easier for us personally having the shorter break before a home game and all the other teams that had to play two away games in quick succession

 

more to the point how come they were both away?

TBH, our January could be one of our best months in recent times
