Two underperforming blue teams. Everton continue the woes and relegation struggle they've had since losing Rafa. Leicester are the only team Southampton and Brentford have each been able to beat this year and are dead last in the table. Which of these two semi-famous blues will be the happier at the end of the season? Could one or both do the thinkable and get relegated? It's still early days. Either club could sign Rafa as manager to save what's left of their season before it's too late... But will they?
Everton for me Once the window slams shut I expect Lesta to settle down and pick a few points up…lots of transfer disruption for the club this summer Everton are just plain **** imo
Yeah, can laugh at Leicester, but half the table will struggle with Arsenal and Chelsea games. They've only really had two games so far that they perhaps should have got points.
Well apart from the fact that Brentford came from 2 down to get a draw at ours then spanked United ... otherwise spot on ... stopped reading at that point coz you've obviously had a few two many sherbets and are talking out your fart pipe
Both have the same problem, absolutely no depth. One or two injuries and both squads struggle like ****. Leicester have overall better players for now and I would expect 10th - 12th or something from them; think their days of top 7 are done. Everton are one of my picks for bottom three, think once they have an injury or two they'll be lucky to get draws against any team in the league. Frank, by all accounts he's a good coach, he has apparently turned Iwobi into a bit of a baller; his tactics and subs are poor, he won't get them out of a mess if they start to lose every week.
Everton are ****e and they have Fat Frank who is ****ing useless. So I think they are going to really struggle again this season. Lesta, well specifically Fosse, have been dining out on that league and cup win for the last few years and haven’t noticed the obvious slide that’s been going on. They are now skint because they’ve spent too much on wages and are now looking at losing their best players. 8th flattered them last season. They won’t be as bad as Everton coz at least Brenda isn’t total ****. But expect a mid table / bottom half finish from them.
Called a response Ponky... and to some incorrect stats... you really do take this place way too seriously
we've got too much depth, hence needing to shift a few ... main problem at the moment is picking the right team... and the distractions off the pitch ... The performance against Chelsea was our best of the season so far ... yes they were down to 10 men for much of the game, but this was Chelsea at theirs, not some lower table opposition ... one of the most expensively assembled squads in the league ... they should be more than capable of coping with 10 ... as they did on the end ... if they were somewhat 'lucky' to have held out ... as their manager said. We had 17 goal attempts and with more luck and better finishing (only 5 on target) that should have been our first win ... Like many Leicester fans I do question some of Brenda's selection decisions ... but it is still a very good squad.
Too much depth So why were you crying your little eyes out complaining about an injury crisis. Now they have TOO MUCH depth. It's not depth... if they're ****ing ****. You're the biggest bullshitter on this entire site little man.
Everything Fosse types can be ignored because it's always a load of old bollocks. He's completely different on the Leicester board.
We finished the 20/21 season without 3 of the first choice back 4, Evans, Fofana and James Justin ... we began last season without any of them, with Castagne having fractured his eye socket at the Euros ... we even started the season with Wilf Ndidi playing centre back ... so no injury crisis at all ... This season we had everyone fit until Pereira did his achilles ... enabled us to put 2 very strong teams out for 2 friendlies on the same day ... Hopefully that's simple enough for even a team switching **** gobbler like your good self to understand ... but maybe you could ask one of your teachers when you go back if it isn't ..
It was my original post giving you the benefit of the doubt and saying you lacked depth and therefore were crippled by injuries. Plenty of teams, including Newcastle had most of the players out for large portions of last season. Then you bit like the blustering old fart you are and said you had TOO MUCH depth. So I say all your beeling was a load of old bollocks last season then. So you bluster again and say actually no you did have an injury crisis. You speak utter nonsense you dumb ****. Back to bed. Skin like a wet leaf you, can't handle anyone on this site mentioning your club without feeling the need to add your false ITK opinion.
Ribbing aside: I think Bournemouth and Wolves are destined for the drop, so that only leaves one more spot. Everton, Leicester may be in the fight, but so will three or four other teams, so there's a good chance neither will go down. It ultimately depends on who Rodgers gets replace by and who/if Lampard gets replaced by.
Leicester have been great for 5 or 6 years but unfortunately for them the wheel has turned full circle. They may not go down this year but Vardy is getting old and they won't qualify for Europe this year. That's Maddison and Tielemens out of there next season even if they stay this year. Recruitment will have to be bang on the money to maintain a top 10 finish over the next 3 or 4 seasons.
