Come on, if he is going out on loan surely (as a reputed Mag) it wouldn't take much to persuade him to come here. He is exactly the type of player we are crying out for.

    Please make it happen.

Dont need him IMO, we've got Barton, Jonas, Marveaux and Ferguson on the wings and Ben Arfa if neessary. Spend the money on a striker and LB.

I can only see this happening if City agree to pay 70% , if not all of his wages.

My goodness who would you want? You don't seem to want anyone.

    Are you Mike Ashley?

He's sort of a one trick pony, he drifts out of games when the other team figure out how to stop him, so no.

Thought he'd signed for Leicester earlier, turned out to be Michael Johnson. :D

We've got Ba, Ameobi, Lovenkrands, Best, Ranger, Xisco who can play up front if necessary.

Fact is we don't have anyone to play on the right, everyones' best position is central or on the left, Johnson is not only comfortable on the right but he's better quality than what we have, he'd be a great signing and he'd walk into the first team. Not going to break the bank on a loan either.

I only meant Ben Arfa as "if necessary". The rest are all going to be used as wingers this season (as much as some people will protest the use of Barton there). Also this would force Ferguson further down the pecking order and he wouldnt develop as much as he could and should.

EDIT: and also, the 4 (5) I mentioned are all good wingers, only Ba and arguable Best are good strikers.

This, Johnson is better than what we have and a loan deal shouldn't be too costly.

For all that say no I'm sorry but we would be very lucky to have him.

If Barton gets injured who can cross from the right ? Raylor erm well different league this guy.

    Jonas/Marveaux/Ben Arfa/Abeid.

We have priorities, and winger isnt ahead of striker, left back, right back or even centre back for me.

Ben Arfa is either a left winger or AM , Jonas is not as good, Abeid is not as good and Marveaux a Left and may not be as good. I agree we need strikers but players of this quality for me are welcome anytime.

They can all play on the right as well. Johnson may be better but we dont need a winger now, we need to be focusing on getting a striker and a LB in.

Johnson plays on the right, or at least he did when he scored against us last season.
