Sunderland’s Barclays Premier League home clash with Everton will have to be rearranged. The Black Cats are scheduled to meet the Toffees at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, March 12. But Everton’s progress to the FA Cup quarter-finals – they will meet Chelsea on the weekend of March 11-14 – will force Sunderland into a postponement of the league game. The call-off will mean that Sunderland have more than two weeks between the visit to Southampton on March 5 and the derby at Newcastle on Sunday, March 20. Ffs i was planning on coming up for this game aswell. Not sure if all these breaks will do us any good!
Arsenal at home the 23rd April off as well if they progress to the semi finals !. But Hull have no room for any midweek game replay would you believe. Rearrange the Everton game for Wed 9th March, 3/4 days before they play Chelsea that would be a canny move. WHU dreaming about the f a cup before we play them, next Tues same with Palace, and maybe Everton !.
If Hull beat Arsenal in the replay could we not rearrange to play them on the day we were supposed to play Everton, mind the commentator at the Arsenal game said there wasn't a midweek date prior to sixth round to fit the replay in so could be playing Hull then, just have to wait and see.
Well I'm over the moon its not on Mar 12 - I"ll be down Sheffield with wife seeing daughter - another football stress free weekend tho' -
